Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis. Hypnosis is a state of altered consciousness which allows easy access to the unconscious mind. The unconscious mind is the part of the mind which controls your behaviour, habits, beliefs and is a reservoir or all your experiences and resources. As such it holds the key to both the root cause of the problem and solution.

Contrary to many misconceptions about hypnosis, hypnotic trance is a naturally occurring state and common examples include daydreaming, being engrossed in a book or TV programme. Most people find hypnosis a relaxing and pleasant experience and an effective way to access their inner resources to bring about beneficial changes. Hypnotherapy is a therapy of choice for the majority of my clients due to enhanced wellbeing and long lasting results.
